Copenhagen Fashion Week: Review

Inclusive, inspiring, and thought-provoking: that’s how I would sum up my experience at SS25 Copenhagen Fashion Week. While Copenhagen may be smaller compared to the Big Four (Milan, London, New York, Paris), its influence far exceeds its size.

Under the visionary leadership of Cecilie Thorsmark, and backed by a dedicated team of passionate consultants, what truly stood out—beyond the signature 'Oh-so-Scandinavian' flawless aesthetics—was their unwavering commitment to revolutionizing sustainability. And this isn’t just about encouraging brands to improve; it’s about holding them accountable.

To showcase at Copenhagen Fashion Week, mere promises of better practices no longer suffice—especially in an era where the line between genuine efforts and greenwashing has become dangerously thin. Instead, brands must meet stringent requirements across manufacturing, supply chain, materials, and more. Compliance is then rigorously audited by an external company before a collection even touches the runway.

With this in mind, the designs I witnessed took on a deeper level of beauty—one that transcends mass production, focusing instead on quality, emotion, and longevity. Enjoy the sneak peek:
